With Asymmetric or Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line "DSL Service," Pierce Telephone Company, Inc. can turbo-charge your online and Internet sessions. DSL is a technology used for bringing high-bandwidth information to homes and businesses over ordinary copper telephone lines, allowing both voice and data traffic to be transmitted over the same circuit. Speeds typically range from 384 Kbps to 10 Mbps downstream, and from 384 kbps to 1 meg upstream. Speeds vary depending on customer owned equipment, service location, and service plan. DSL data connections do not require "dialing in", as they are continuously connected to the Internet.

Once we link your personal computer to the Internet with our DSL Service, you will experience online and corporate services at lightning-quick speeds, saving time, gaining productivity by eliminating significant waits for data and web pages to be delivered.  New multimedia applications are now feasible. Best of all, you do not need an additional line to your home because it uses the same existing wiring that is in place today.

** The stated prices apply if the customer purchases the necessary equipment for use at their residence or business. ADSL modems cost $99. If you agree to a 12 month contract the price is reduced to $49.50. Rental of the equipment is also available from Pierce Telephone for an additional nominal monthly fee of $5.

*** Installation will be waived if customer signs up for a minimum of one year of service.
