DSL SERVICE EXTENDED FURTHER IN THE COUNTRY

Pierce Telephone Co. is announcing that DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) High-speed Internet service is now available further in the country. Pierce Telephone Co., Inc. has made every effort to be able to offer dependable high-speed Internet access and now has released a product available to push this service past the original 3+ miles.

This product allows phone companies to use existing twisted copper pair to deliver up to three voice lines and one data line to a customer without having to plow additional cable. It also features repeatable transmissions to extend reach up to 9+ miles (6+ miles further than most DSL offerings). Even with the increased mileage, a few limitations still exist but this extended-reach feature makes an ideal solution for bringing DSL service to many rural markets.

With the Extended DSL, the telephone box (protector) on the outside of your home or office will be replaced with new equipment. A line conditioning fee does apply but the monthly charges are no more than what is offered for the customers in town.
